Costa Rica is the only country in Central America which has a legislation that implements accessibility. So it means we at least have the basics. 

With our local ground operator we have been creating, implementing, improving accessibility around the country. Right now we have wheelchair friendly hotels, transportation, tours... Basically we can show people with disabilities the same as anyone else.

Our Accessible Trips can be custom tailor made from top to bottom where we tune into your needs, wishes, schedules, budget, interests and dreams.

For your comfort we have the following equipment available: Transportation with lifts and anchors, amphibian chair, joelette, shower chair, bathroom chair, walker, manual wheelchair, room lifts

DAY #1

Greeting and meeting at the airport. The private transportation and guide will transfer you to the hotel with a sight seeing tour of San Jose. In the hotel you will have access to the botanical garden. 

DAY #2

Breakfast included. Morning coffee tour and then continue to Arenal. Check In and enjoy the facilities of the Hotel. The Hot Springs and the volcano view will be the highlight of the night.

DAY #3

Breakfast included. Morning adventure where you will fly like a monkey. The activity is called Canopy or Zipline. During the activity at Sky Adventures you will also enjoy amazing views of the volcano and the lake. Lunch in la fortuna town and then head to Mistico Hanging Bridges.

DAY #4

Breakfast included. Guided transfer to Puntarenas to relax at the all inclusive resort.

Beach and all inclusive

DAY #6

Breakfast included and guided transfer directly to the airport of San Jose.

Please take note of the following important facts:

 All the ground transfers are based on private services with guide/driver

 Vegetarian or special meals can be included upon request.

 We are the only local ground operator that specializes on accessible travel in Costa Rica. Which means we create unique travel accesible experiences all around the country. Please let us know in advance if a guest has a specific disability.

 Please be informed that travellers have to be three hours in advance at the International Airports in order to aboard their international flight.

  Welcome Kit  includes vouchers, detailed itinerary, map, general information of the country, safety tips, information of the locations and activities visited and even a hand made welcome gift from us. We will also include a glass bottle so you can refill instead of buying plastic bottles of water around the country.

Rates are valid for 2020, yet they do not apply on certain Holidays such as, but not limited to: New Year, World Youth Week, Carnivals, Holy Week, National Holidays, Christmas, etc. Rates are subject to change.

 Prices are net per person and given in US Dollars. Based on minimum 2 adults travelling together. A maximum of 2 infants under 4 years old travel for free with the 2 adults parents. 

 Children Rates apply for children bewteen 5 and 11 years old  / Children over 12years old are considered adults. A maximum of  2 Children or 3 Adults per room. 

 Prices are subject to change without previous notice depending on any significant increase in rates, taxes, fuel or due to availability problems.

 Prices are based on the minimum of paying participants previously informed.

 If the minimum number of paying participants changes, the rates would also change

 IL VIAGGIO TRAVEL has a civil responsibility insurance but declines any responsibility for personal accidents. We strongly recommend buying an international travel insurance.
